Taking scrap steel as the core raw material, the production line is configured with professional equipment that is fully adapted to local production needs, with a designed production capacity of 5 tons per hour and compatible with 60mm billets. The entire production process is closely connected, forming a closed-loop operation from raw material input to finished product collection, which not only improves production efficiency but also maximizes the utilization rate of scrap steel resources, in line with the concept of energy conservation and environmental protection.
Core Equipment Configuration
Natural Gas Billet Heating Furnace
Specialized in heating 60mm billets to the optimal rolling temperature, providing stable and uniform heat source for the roughing and continuous rolling process. Compared with traditional heating methods, natural gas heating is more energy-saving and environmentally friendly, reducing energy consumption and pollutant emissions while ensuring heating efficiency.
Roughing/Continuous Rolling Mill
The core equipment for rebar forming, which processes the heated 60mm billets into finished rebars of various specifications through continuous rolling. The mill adopts automated control technology, with high rolling precision and stable operation, ensuring the dimensional accuracy and mechanical properties of the finished rebars meet industry standards.
Auxiliary Equipment
Including cooling tower, cooling bed, rebar collector and dust remover. The cooling tower and cooling bed are responsible for cooling the rolled rebars to ensure their structural stability; the rebar collector realizes automatic collection and sorting of finished rebars, reducing manual work; the dust remover effectively treats the dust generated during the production process, meeting the local environmental protection standards and achieving green production.
Project Value & Significance
With a production capacity of 5 tons per hour, the production line realizes large-scale and continuous rebar production, which not only meets the local market demand for high-quality rebars but also promotes the upgrading of Algeria’s local metal processing industry. By taking scrap steel as raw material and adopting advanced production equipment and technology, the project not only reduces the dependence on imported raw materials but also realizes the recycling and reuse of scrap steel resources, which is of great significance for energy conservation, emission reduction and sustainable development.
Since its official commissioning, the production line has been running stably and efficiently, with excellent product quality and high production efficiency, winning high recognition and praise from the Algerian client. It has not only helped the client achieve considerable economic benefits but also made positive contributions to the development of the local metal processing industry, laying a solid foundation for our company’s long-term cooperation in the African market.
